Good News! First Ebola Patient discharged in Lagos

Finally light at the end of the tunnel. The first Ebola patient to be confrimed positive has been discharged in Lagos.
The Minster of Health Prof. Onyebuchi Chukwu confirmed this saying the patient ,a female doctor now tested negetive .He however did not reveal her name.He also said five of those undergoing treatment have almost recovered.

It is been confirmed to be Doctor Ameyo Stella Adadevoh, a consultant and Endocrinologist at First Consultant Hospital,Lagos.She was the first to test positive after coming in contact with Sawyer..

He also said Nanosilver (the drug which was to be used on Ebola Patients)failed to pass the ethical test, will not be used.

Weightlifter Chika Amalaha stripped of her Commonwealth Games Gold

16 year old Nigerian weightlifter Chika Amalaha has been stripped of her Commonwealth Games gold medal after failing her drugs test. She won the 53-kilogram division last week making her the youngest ever female to win a weightlifting title at a Commonwealth Games but unfortunately a few days later, she tested positive for diuretics and masking agents.

Commonwealth Games Federation announced today Friday August 1 that her B sample also showed traces of the substances amiloride and hydrochlorothiazide, both of which are banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency...and said they will look into how she had access to the banned substances.

Morata is scheduled to complete a medical with the Serie A club on Saturday and he made it clear, when he arrived at Turin International Airport, that he expects to sign with Juventus.

"I'm very happy to be beginning this new adventure," Morata said.

"I'll have my medical tomorrow morning."

Morata has played 37 La Liga matches for Real over the past four seasons, scoring 10 goals, including eight in the 2013/14 campaign.

But with Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema ahead of him in the striking pecking order at the Santiago Bernabeu, Morata believes he needs a new club to play regularly.

The Spanish striker has also been linked with Bundesliga club Wolfsburg.

The world football governing body, FIFA, has suspended the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, with immediate effect from all activities in football. The suspension was announced in a statement released on their website this evening Wednesday July 9th.

28 year old Olympian and five-time U.S. national champion Alysia Montano ran an 800m race at the Hornet Stadium in Sacramento, California, yesterday and people are now questioning if it's safe.


Alysia received a standing ovation after completing the race in 2 minutes, 32.13 seconds, 35 seconds slower than her personal best of 1:57.34, which she smashed back in 2010 in a race in Monaco.
