At-least 7 people dead, several others injured in Iyanya bomb blast

After breaking the news of another bomb blast in Nyanya, Abuja early this evening, YNaija.com can confirm that several people have died and many others injured in the tragic incident with emergency services doing all they can to save as many lives as they can.

Sources say men of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) have evacuated some victims with about seven people reported to have died. We cannot, however, confirm the official number of casualties. The death toll from this blast is expected to rise going by the severity of the injuries sustained by victims.

The blast happened is a few kilometres from where the last bomb blast occurred about two weeks ago leaving several people dead.

Sources close to the location of the blast spoke to YNaija.com saying the sound of the explosion is consistent with the one which killed over 70 people at a bus park in Nyanya on April 14.
